The Internationalist Announces the Addition of an “AI JUDGE” in its Digital Awards…

For 20+ years, The Internationalist has connected the People & Ideas in International Marketing.Now we are collaborating with one of the world’s best AI Marketing Platforms to Provide our Community with More Insights.

The Internationalist’s Sixteenth Annual Internationalist Awards for Innovative Digital Solutions will have an added judge this year. 

Appropriately, it’s an AI Judge, an Artificial Intelligence “persona” that The Internationalist will use as a “test” between AI data-driven scoring and human experience, insights, and emotion.

Client-side marketers will continue to anonymously choose the case study Award Finalists as in the past. However, we will compare how our “AI colleague” looks at scoring and, perhaps more importantly, scans all award entries to see trends among this year’s winners that will prove valuable to marketing leaders.

Our AI companion is Powered by XPLAIN, an AI agency that partnered with two Pepsi brands to win Gold and an additional for MetLife in our past Digital Awards. We wouldn’t consider using AI unless we could work with an organization with a long history of working with brands and marketers.

The Internationalist will name the Finalists in our Awards for Innovative Digital Marketing Solutions by the end of the month, followed shortly by aI Winners’ Announcement. 

We’ll also outline how our AI Juror responded and the insights it finds.

In 2025, The Internationalist will host four case study awards programs:

  • The Seventeenth Annual Awards for Innovative Digital Marketing Solutions
  • A new AI-focused case study Award, AI for Better Marketing

We will learn more about the perspectives of our new AI Juror and see how it might participate in upcoming competitions.

JUDGING OF THE INTERNATIONALIST’S DIGITAL AWARDS:

The Internationalist team pre-qualifies all entries. Judging is conducted anonymously through online forms by a panel of seasoned client-side marketers worldwide who are part of the Internationalist community or ANA members. With their wealth of experience, each judge reviews approximately 15 entries per session, ensuring that case studies are considered reasonably (rather than exhaustively). Several judges from different regions and industry sectors score each grouping. The top-scoring entries then proceed to the next round.

Entries are judged for:

  • Innovative understanding of digital insights
  • Breakthrough communications thinking
  • Tactical elements for solving marketing problems through digital strategies
  • Demonstrating sustained cross-cultural understanding of marketing issues
  • Providing solutions worthy of world-class standards
  • Measurable results- proven to make a difference

ABOUT THE AWARDS:

Now in its sixteenth year, The Internationalist Awards for Innovative Digital Solutions acknowledge how marketing strategies are affected by today’s media and technology revolution in a Post-Digital Age. Inspiring case studies are scored for insights, strategy, and results. Unlike many awards that cite the best in a single category, The Awards for Innovative Digital Solutions enable all entries to be judged as examples of worldwide best practices; winners are those with the highest point scores. There is no predetermined number of bronze, silver, gold, or grand prix winners; again, these designations are determined by point scores.
